India Art Fair is hiring interns for its 2019 edition! As a massive fair with a small team, we always depend on extra hands to make things run as smoothly as possible. We are looking for qualified graduates to join our New Delhi office in the various roles below. Videographers 

India Art Fair is looking for a couple of amazing videographers who can take short clips of performances, talks and exhibition spaces. Apply for the chance to experience the best of this year’s Forum programming from behind the lens! Previous experience in videography is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Film artist talks in the Forum space, as well as other events across the fair grounds
  • Record Performances, which will be streamed to live audiences at the fair
  • Remain on site to capture audiences interacting with artwork
  • Bring your own equipment, which should be excellent quality

Requirements: Full-time, from 30 January to 3 February 2019

Art Walk Leader

Are you seeking a unique way to engage with South Asian culture? Do you love talking about Indian art, and weaving narratives around its rich history? India Art Fair is looking for people like you! Join us for the upcoming edition of the fair as an Art Walk Leader, curating exciting walks and tours around the fair grounds to give visitors a special insight into the extensive range of modern and contemporary art on display. A background in art or art history is a requirement; previous professional experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct curated walks around the India Art Fair grounds
  • Oversee all logistical aspects of arranging tours
  • Speak confidently and informatively about art and artists
  • Interact with both local and international visitors

Requirements: Full-time, from 30 January to 3 February 2019

Gallery Assistants 

Every year, our local and international exhibitors look for young, presentable, articulate and art-educated individuals to assist the management of their booths at the fair. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door of a career in museums and galleries. An arts background is essential as you will be working directly with gallerists.

Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct tours around gallery booths for visitors and potential buyers 
  • Assist one of our 75 exhibitors with their administrative activities 
  • Mediate between the gallery and the public
  • Speak clearly and confidently about art and artists

Requirements: Full-time, from 30 January to 3 February 2019

Visitor Assistants

On the fair days, you could have the exciting opportunity to be one of our Visitor Assistants. We are looking to station organised and helpful people with excellent interpersonal skills in various locations of the fair grounds — including the bookstore, press desk, information desk and exhibition halls.

Responsibilities: 

  • To assist various team members for the duration of the fair
  • Efficiently handle a designated area of the fair grounds
  • To be a helpful and friendly face of the fair for local and international visitors

Requirements: Full-time, from 28 January 2018 to 15 February 2019
