Experimenter Curators' Hub

Dates: July 17 – 18, 2026

Venue: Experimenter – Hindustan Road, Kolkata

The most-anticipated Curators’ Hub returns with the monsoon season, and this year, India Art Fair comes on board as Associate Partner. A two-day programme convening leading curators from across the globe, the Hub creates space for deep thinking, dialogue, and exchange around curatorial practice and exhibition-making today.

The Meeting Ground: Scenes from the KNMA Collection

Venue: Christie’s London, UK

South Asia on the global stage once again – Christie’s presents The Meeting Ground: Scenes from the KNMA Collection, a landmark collaboration with the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA), showcasing modern and contemporary multimedia works from South Asia through carefully curated scenes drawn from the museum’s extraordinary collection.

Image Worlds: Hybridity Symposium

Dates: July 31 – August 01, 2026

Venue: India International Centre, New Delhi

Observing the bicentennial of photography, Image Worlds: Hybridity symposium brings together contemporary artists, curators, writers, and theorists to reflect on how image-making continues to evolve. Using the idea of hybridity as a starting point, this two-day symposium explores changing artistic practices, histories, and ways of understanding images across visual and written forms.

AUGUST 2026


sā Ladakh Biennale

Dates: August 1 – 10, 2026

City: Leh–Kargil Corridor, Ladakh

The world’s highest regenerative art initiative on climate, culture and community,  the Biennale under the theme Signals from Another Star, foregrounds regeneration, learning, and ethical engagement. It unfolds as a non–white–cube initiative across Ladakh’s lived landscapes, bringing together artists from Ladakh and around the world to foster long-term, ethical, and climate-conscious cultural exchange.

Conversation | On Patronage: Public Impact, Private Collections

Date: August 8, 2026

City: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Presented by India Art Fair in collaboration with Avtar Foundation for The Arts join Anu Menda, Meha Patel, Jaiveer Johal, and Siddharth Somaiya for a conversation, moderated by Umah Jacob, exploring how regional perspectives, personal philosophies, and collaborative networks are shaping the ways artists, institutions, and cultural ecosystems are supported today.

India Art Fair EDI+IONS is back — and this year, we’re headed to aapnu Ahmedabad.

IAF EDI+IONS reflects our ongoing commitment to strengthening regional arts ecosystems by working closely with local institutions, practitioners and partners, while creating meaningful opportunities for exchange between cities, communities and audiences. Following a successful inaugural edition in Hyderabad, we are delighted to continue this journey in one of India’s most significant centres for art, architecture and design. Over two days, the iconic Baronet House (Sanjay MS Raval Skill Centre) will become a vibrant venue for contemporary art and design, bringing together 15 leading Indian galleries — including five from Ahmedabad — alongside two design participants.

Ahmedabad Cultural Week 2026

Dates: October 23 — November 1, 2026

City: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

The second edition of Ahmedabad Cultural Week (ACW Ed.2 ) responds to the growing urgency of the climate crisis by bringing attention to its far-reaching environmental and social consequences. Through collective activation of cultural spaces. ACW Ed.2 aims to underline the shifting global temperatures and its long term impact.

Bengal Biennale 2026-27

Bengal Biennale 2026-27

Dates: November 25, 2026 – January 2, 2027

City: Santiniketan and Kolkata, West Bengal

Rooted in a rich legacy of culture, art, literature, and interdisciplinary practices, West Bengal’s primary urban-cultural axis from Kolkata to Santiniketan, returns with Bengal Biennale 2026-27. Bringing together over 100+ artists across more than 20 venues, the Biennale presents exhibitions, performances, and public art interventions.

Serendipity Arts Festival 2026

Dates: December 13 – 20, 2026

City: Panjim, Goa

Serendipity Arts Festival returns to Panjim for its 11th edition, with eight days of visual arts, craft, music, dance, theatre, culinary arts, film, and ideas, unfolding across the city’s most iconic spaces. The Festival has always been about what happens when artists, audiences, and a city come together with openness.

City: Jodhpur, Rajasthan

SITE Jodhpur, formerly known as Jodhpur Arts Week, brings together art, architecture, ecology, design, craft, technology, folklore, and pedagogy in active collision. More than a festival, it is a site-responsive platform where the city itself becomes the medium, unfolding across its streets, stepwells, and structures as a space for encounter, exchange, and experimentation.
