Error 417 Expectation Failed announces its second open call – Error 406 [Netstalgia] Not Acceptable – focused on critical approaches to internet culture and technology. The call for projects is aimed at artists worldwide, collectives, curators, arts initiatives, exhibition spaces, online platforms, and developers of software and hardware — basically anyone exploring the possibilities of contemporary, networked technologies as art and their significance for society.

The call goes beyond nostalgia for the “old internet” and supports projects that question platform power, data economies, and digital infrastructures shaping our reality. Everyone–artists, curators, and collectives, from anywhere in the world are invited to bring their experimental initiatives, projects in digital and net-based practices into the space.
