The HOMO LUDENS: THE ART OF PLAY exhibition will discuss the profound impact of play on human life through a cross-cultural dialogue between India and The Netherlands, showcasing artworks and installations that will highlight its significance in culture, society, education, creativity, and well-being.

Eligibility

-Entries are open to all artists based in India and the Netherlands. Artists based in the Netherlands will be permitted to submit only digital artworks (digital art, video, animation). Due to the scope of the project, no logistical support will be provided, and international transportation will not be feasible.

-You do not need any formal training in art. You do not need to be an emerging or established artist. We welcome anyone interested in art and creating.

-Artworks should explore the themes of ‘Play’ and its significance in culture, society, education, creativity, and well-being.

-The exhibition will accept sculptures, paintings, digital prints, and video art.

-Artists must accept the terms and conditions listed in Section D of the document.

Selection Criteria

A panel of eminent art professionals, in collaboration with the team at the Museum of Goa, will oversee the selection process. Artworks will be reviewed based on originality, narrative, and aesthetic appeal.
