Art Incept is now accepting applications for its Inception Grant 2023. The grant was set up with the prime focus of supporting and mentoring emerging talent in the visual arts. The grant is open to contemporary artists between the ages 21-35 years from South Asia. Apart from financial aid, the awardee also will have access to mentors and curators who assist them in developing their art practice through the year.

Eligibility criteria:

• Artists from South Asia aged 21-35 years
• Applicants must be at an early stage of their career, a student, or an emerging artist in the process of launching their career
• Practice must fit the contemporary genre, especially in the realm of painting, sculpture, print and photography
• Illustrations, graphic design and decorative art are not within the mandate
