Research Assistant at INTACH Bhopal

Project Title: Intangible Cultural Heritage Preservation Project of Madhya Pradesh

Duration: Upto 11 months, which may be extended

Honorarium: upto Rs 30,000/- per month

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Research Assistant to contribute to our on-site, full-time project focused on the preservation of the intangible cultural heritage of Madhya Pradesh and studies connected with similar heritage matters.
This project aims to safeguard and document the diverse cultural traditions and practices of the region.

Qualifications: MA/Post Graduate degree in social sciences with a focus on subjects such as History, Archaeology, Cultural Studies, Anthropology, Cultural and Heritage Management, Cultural Intellectual, and Visual History.

Experience: 1-2 years of demonstrated work experience in on-field research projects and archival research is required.

Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct fieldwork, interviews, and data collection.
– Conduct archival research on the subject given and report making on the same.
– Assist in documentation and analysis of intangible cultural heritage.
Collaborate with the project team and scholars in the field.
