OVERVIEW
The KAF Young Prize 2026 is an international art competition hosted by the Krupa Art Foundation, based in Wrocław, Poland. It offers emerging artists a platform to develop and present their work, culminating in a final exhibition at the Foundation’s gallery in autumn 2026.
This edition expands the competition to include three categories:
- Painting
- Digital art
- Sculpture & installation.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Open to artists from any country (no nationality restriction).
- Open to students and graduates of art schools, as well as early-career creators aiming to push boundaries and experiment with contemporary practices.
APPLICATION PROCESS
- Applications open 1 January 2026 and close on 31 March 2026 (23:59 CET).
- Submit your work via the online form provided by the Krupa Art Foundation’s competition page.
- You’ll select your category (Painting, Digital art, or Sculpture & installation) and upload images and details of the work(s) you wish to submit.
BENEFITS
- Three equal main prizes: €12,000 each — awarded to three winners chosen by the jury.
- Exhibition fees (honorariums): All other finalists receive an exhibition participation fee.
- Work by finalists will be showcased in a final exhibition at the Krupa Art Foundation gallery in Wrocław, Poland (Autumn 2026).
- Media partners for the 2026 edition include Polityka and Mint Magazine.
