The Leica Society International’s annual Photography Grant supports photographers worldwide who are developing a personal, in-progress photographic project. The 2026 theme, “To Be Seen,” invites work exploring visibility, identity, dignity, belonging, and the act of witnessing people, places, communities, histories, or issues with care and intention. The selected photographer will receive a US$7,500 grant, a Leica camera and lens, and an exhibition opportunity at Leica Gallery Paris alongside the first runner-up in 2027. The grant is open to photographers 18 and above, and Leica equipment or LSI membership is not required. Applications include 10 project images and a project description. The application fee is US$35, and the programme is open internationally where permitted by law.
