ROLE OVERVIEW
MAP is looking for a Project Manager to join the team for the upcoming edition of Art is Life, the museum’s annual festival that brings together art, culture, and community. The role involves supporting the planning and execution of a range of festival events by coordinating logistics, liaising with partners, and ensuring smooth on-ground delivery. We’re seeking someone who is organised, proactive, and enjoys working collaboratively in a creative, fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Coordinate logistics for all festival activities, including scheduling, travel, accommodation, and event setup.
● Liaise with artists, vendors, and collaborators to ensure clear communication and timely coordination.
● Track project timelines and deliverables, supporting the MAP team in meeting key milestones.
● Manage expenses and assist in ensuring adherence to the approved budget.
● Support documentation, vendor payments, and other administrative requirements.
● Work closely with the design team to follow up on communication and publicity materials.
● Maintain detailed documentation and reports throughout the planning and execution process.
● Troubleshoot on-ground issues and assist with the smooth execution of festival events.
REQUIRMENTS
● Prior experience in event coordination, logistics, or project management (experience with arts or cultural events preferred).
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams.
● Excellent organisational, documentation, and budgeting abilities.
● Ability to multitask and adapt to changing timelines in a dynamic environment.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
