Museum of Goa Foundation x Digital Empowerment Foundation | Museum of Digital Society (MoDS) Fellowship

Deadline: 30/09/2025

Museum of Goa Foundation is excited to announce a partnership with Digital Empowerment Foundation to bring you the Museum of Digital Society (MoDS), Hyderabad.

The Museum of Digital Society (MoDS) in Hyderabad, an initiative by the Digital Empowerment Foundation (DEF), Government of Telangana, and T-Hub, is a first-of-its-kind effort to document, showcase, and reflect on how digital technologies are shaping people, communities, and change—especially at the margins. It is a living archive of the everyday digital lives of rural, tribal, informal, and underserved populations across India.

As part of this vision, we are launching the Museum of Digital Society Fellowship, inviting Indian artists, illustrators, designers, digital creators, and storytellers to create original artwork that explores how digital intersects with lived experiences of marginalisation, resilience, and transformation. This is more than an art fellowship — it’s a chance to shape how the digital present and future are remembered, questioned and reimagined.

MODS FELLOWSHIP: CREATE, CURATE, REIMAGINE

THEME: Digital & Marginalities: Power, Possibility & Everyday Life.

SUBMISSIONS OPEN TO: Artists across mediums (Paintings, Sculptures, Installation Art, Video Art, Etc.). All selected entries will be showcased at the Museum of Digital Society, Hyderabad.

GRANT AMOUNT: Create and win upto INR 2.5 lakhs*! (for the top five selections)

*The prize money is just a fellowship amount and is in no way the price of the artwork

Application Deadline: September 30, 2025
