Open Call

Museum of Goa | Festivals of Goa: Photography Exhibition & Contest

Deadline: 24/08/2025

This photography exhibition offers a visual exploration of Goan festivals, capturing their dynamic movement, layered narratives, vibrant visuals, and dramatic flair. It seeks to document and celebrate the cultural richness, emotional intensity, and distinctive character of these celebrations, placing the stories of the people and communities at the centre, whose enduring traditions make these festivals uniquely compelling and essential to Goa’s identity. The Festivals of Goa exhibition explores celebrations, both well-known and lesser documented, to better understand what they reveal about Goan society today. This exhibition also marks 10 years of the Museum of Goa and is part of its ongoing commitment to critically engage with Goan history, culture, and identity.
