UCLA New Wight Biennial 2026
Open Call for Artists
Deadline: 10/07/2026
The New Wight Biennial invites submissions from artists worldwide who are currently engaged in advanced artistic study, including MFA programmes, apprenticeships, long-term residencies, fellowships, craft and technical programmes, and informal modes of study. Organised by student-curators Luke Francis Austin, Tunmi DaSilva, and Sabaah Folayan from the UCLA Graduate Art Program, the exhibition will present a range of multimedia works from the international arts community at the UCLA New Wight Gallery. The Biennial aims to foster dialogue among artists whose work imagines worlds shaped by forces other than violence, greed, and the illusion of power.
