The Heritage Lab
Open Knowledge Fellowship
Deadline: 10/11/2023
The Heritage Lab invites applications for its Open Knowledge Fellowship, as part of the Wiki Loves Museums project, that aims to activate citizen participation with cultural heritage and encourages the creation of openly licensed images, articles & learning resources about India’s museum collections on the web. The Open Knowledge Fellowship will host a mixed cohort of experienced, emerging and undergraduate researchers (4 positions). This is a part-time digital fellowship. Fellowship remuneration will be based on experience. The theme for the 2023-24 Fellowship is Post-colonial India (1950s), and fellows will respond to the overarching question: ‘How did internal / external political, economic, social, cultural changes shape the nation of India?’
