DAG is looking to hire the services of a Senior Art Advisor to report to the Gallery Manager. This person was responsible for the sale of artworks, manage leads and maintain a healthy relationship with the clients.

Responsibilities:

• Primarily responsible for sales target achievement and customer acquisitions for the gallery
• Formal relation with the customers, visitors and clients to ensure the regularity of the customers visiting the DAG gallery or any event and assure a growth in customer base
• Work closely with Gallery Director in providing inputs, taking in to consideration his/her understanding of the customers and using own experience, regarding selection of art works for exhibitions and events and other activities
• Follow-up with the client and record feedbacks and improvise on the same
• Address queries on social media and Artsy
• Generation of invoices in case of sales or artworks or books
• Preparation of PPTs and presenting them to the interested clients
• Capture the details of new visitors and customers to CRM and keeping a real-time track of customer interactions and meetings to enable record-keeping and exchange of information

Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in arts related topics such as fine arts or art history
• 5+ years’ experience in art gallery or related companies
• Must have strong understanding of Indian modern art
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work well with clients
• Fluency in English essential, other languages an advantage
• Be flexible with working hours if/when required
