Eligibility:

• The residency is open to emerging and established artists from all disciplines. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to their practice and a clear vision of how the residency will impact their work. A selection committee of esteemed artists and curators will evaluate applications based on artistic merit, the potential for community engagement, and the applicant’s ability to contribute to the residency’s collaborative atmosphere.
  Residency Duration and Support
• Residencies are offered for 15 to 20 days, starting 15th October 2024. The Utsha Foundation provides accommodation, studio space, travel and a stipend to cover the material required.
  A total grant of up to 20,000/-
• Upon completing the residency, the artist would also be required to donate one or two artworks to the Utsha Foundation.

Application Process:

Interested artists are invited to submit the following:
● A project proposal outlining the intended focus of their residency
● A portfolio of recent work (up to 10 images or links to video/audio files)
● A curriculum vitae (CV)
