Vida Heydari Contemporary (VHC) is an up and coming contemporary art gallery based in Pune. They are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Gallery Manager, to help support them in their high-growth trajectory.

Essentials:

• Graduate, preferably in Fine Arts
• 3+ years of experience as a gallery manager in a contemporary art gallery
• Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written. Fluency in English is a must.
• Experience with art handling, packing and shipping
• Existing network of contacts, including private collectors, museums, galleries, and art fairs
• Demonstrated ability to manage the whole life-cycle of an art exhibition including ideation, documentation, installation, press-releases, organizing launch event, etc.
• Experience in creating and managing social media and marketing strategies. Experience in dealing with press, and media houses.
• Strong expertise with MS Excel and Google Docs

Preferable:

• Experience with art database, CRM software, design softwares like Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp
• Sales experience in an art gallery or luxury sector
• Curatorial projects
• Experience with international art fairs
