The Sunaparanta Goa Centre for the Arts presents the VM Salgaocar Emerging Artist Grant. This programme provides support to young artists based in Goa. Selected grantees will participate in a series of learning opportunities that include training, networking, and promotion. The grant will be interwoven with a dedicated professional development course that includes participation in our in-house mentorship programme, one-on-one consultations, facilitating network building, along with the eligibility to participate in an exhibition platform.

The grantee will be facilitated by a mentor who will monitor the research and body of work produced over the one-year grant period. Upon completion, the artist will be required to submit a project report along with appropriate documentation, and engage in public discussions and presentations about their work and processes.
