VORBRENNER, a contemporary art platform based in Innsbruck, Austria, is inviting applications for its 2026 programme. The platform supports process-oriented, interdisciplinary projects that explore intersections between art and science. Selected projects will receive funding, workspace at BRUX, technical resources, PR support, and professional consultation.
Who Can Apply:
Artists and collectives working in fields such as architecture, visual arts, film, photography, literature, music, performance, theatre, and virtual/extended reality. Projects should be experimental, interdisciplinary, and preferably being conceived and implemented for the first time. This residency is open to international applicants.
Funding Available:
A total of €40,000 is available annually, funded by the City of Innsbruck and the Province of Tyrol. This amount is distributed among selected projects in the form of financial support, space, technology, PR, and consultation.
Project Timeline:
Selected projects will be implemented during April, June, September, or October 2026. Projects can take place at BRUX or in public spaces in Innsbruck/Tyrol.
