Call for New Media Artists

Zinnov Foundation announces an open call for new media artworks that explore the themes of Human Wisdom in the Age of Al. This is an invitation for artists, technologists, and creative coders to engage with the evolution of India’s digital landscape, specifically how human intuition and ethical governance steer the power of Artificial Intelligence. The artwork/installation will be presented during the annual Zinnov Confluence to be held in Bengaluru in August 2026.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Medium: New media-generative Al, VR/AR, interactive installations, data viz,
voice/sound/biometric works, blockchain collaborations. Use India’s strengths:
multilingual Al, vernacular voice technology.
Also share a list (as detailed as possible) of the hardware and display requirements.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
1. Artist Statement: A brief statement (250 words max) outlining your artistic practice and
how your work interprets the theme.
2. Project Proposal: A detailed description (300 words max) of the interactive or digital
experience, including the technology stack used and the intended audience impact.
3. Timeline: Estimated time required for completion.
4. Visuals/Prototypes: Include at least three high-quality images, sketches, or video links
demonstrating the work or a prototype. File size no more than 10MB.
5. Portfolio: Submit a PDF with previous work in new media, creative coding, or digital
installations. File size should not be more than 10 MB
6. Artist Biography: A brief biography (150 words max) highlighting your relevant
experience and achievements in tech – art space.
7. Contact Information: Full name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
8. Cost proposal: Please submit the cost proposal as artist fee. The production fee will be
discussed and will be finalized after taking into consideration the venue, scale of the
output.
