Korean Cultural Centre, India is hostingĀ Synthesis of Difference, an exhibition by Korean and Indian contemporary artists,
The exhibition, jointly curated by Jeong Heon-ki and B. Ajay Sharma, aims to combine various artistic perspectives from Korea and India through new media art, photography, painting, installation, and performance. It is an attempt to bring together the modern art of the two countries by mediating upon difference, and using synthesis as a tool.
A total of 10 artists are being featured in the exhibition, including Lee Lee Nam, Haru K., Lee Jeong Lok, Park Ji Hyoung, Harpreet Singh, Paribartana Mohanty, Neha G. Verma, Birender Kumar Yadav, B. Ajay Sharma and Ghazala Parveen.
The exhibition is part of the Delhi Art Week, a week long celebration of the rich diversity of Indian contemporary and modern art in Delhi, taking place across four art zones, 37 galleries, two museums and several participating institutions.
