Art Heritage and The Lakshmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute at Harvard University feature works by alumni of the Mittal Institute’s Visiting Artist Fellowship – Cop Shiva, Pattabi Raman, and Sunanda Khajuria – as they explore layered and multifaceted dimensions of identity in A Space Between Selves. Through photography and painting, their practices delve into themes of transformation and cultural memory—ranging from Cop Shiva’s portraits of impersonation to Pattabi’s lens on metamorphosis and marginality, and Khajuria’s dreamlike landscapes shaped by migration and the self in flux.
