Sakshi Gallery presents And When She Roared The Universe Quaked, a group show featuring Aaditi Joshi, Aditi Singh, Benitha Perciyal, Jayashree Chakravarty, Mithu Sen, Mona Rai, Pooja Iranna, Ratna Gupta, Shakuntala Kulkarni, Shobha Broota and Vibha Galhotra.
Perceived as a dual response, between performance and its reverberation, the exhibition
examines the subtle renditions that unconsciously manifest between multiple peripheries. The
universe is a platonic space of actions and reactions, ultimately uniting each element through the
dynamic relationship of force and motion.
Conceiving a language that stems from an aspect of traditionalism, poeticism, spiritualism and/or
socialism, the artworks transit into a hybrid discourse, that is both receptive and reactive.
