Akar Prakar presents Becoming, an inaugural group exhibition curated by Siddhi Shailendra. Bringing together works by C. Douglas, Debasish Mukherjee, Ganesh Haloi, Jayashree Chakravarty, Leang Seckon, and Manish Pushkale, the exhibition explores artistic evolution as a continuous process of transformation. Through the dialogue between six distinct practices, it traces the ever-expanding language of modern and contemporary art. Becoming also reflects Akar Prakar’s own journey, marking a new chapter while reaffirming its enduring commitment to artistic practice, scholarship, and cultural exchange.
