Gallery Maskara presents Biography, a solo exhibition by Prashant Pandey featuring over 70 new sculptural works created from discarded cigarette buds. For more than ten years, Pandey has worked with urban waste as a primary material, transforming remnants of consumption into intricate, organic forms. In Biography, he depicts each recovered cigarette butt as a trace of lived experience — a residue of breath, habit, or pause — and reconfigures thousands of these fragments into expansive installations and wall-mounted sculptures that resemble leaf skins, anatomical membranes, and floating cellular systems.
