Art Exposure and Birla Academy of Art and Culture present CAST, an exhibition of sculptures by Paresh Maity. The artist’s unique shapes and forms are both organic and imagined. The artist began sculpting and moulding clay when he was only seven years old, long before he held a pencil or a paint brush. Having spent his early days in Tamluk, West Bengal, Maity witnessed lush green fields, azure blue skies, water bodies, and the earthy hues of terracotta. These elements have been often found a mirror in his artworks.
