Palette Art Gallery presents the solo exhibition Chhoti Baatein, Bade Sapne, showcasing a deeply resonant body of work by Rajesh Ram, exploring the intersections of identity, memory, ecology, and socio-political life through sculpture and mixed-media. Born in Jharkhand and currently based in New Delhi, Ram’s practice brings a rich, layered understanding of rural India into dialogue with contemporary global realities. Rooted in lived experience and cultural memory, the exhibition revolves around three central motifs that have become signatures in Ram’s work: the image of a young boy on the cusp of forming his worldview; seeds, fruits, and vegetables drawn from the fertile Ganges plains; and the boat, a vessel of hope, survival, and shared journey. Each motif becomes a site for inquiry, storytelling, and transformation.
