Method presents Golpo Kotha, a solo exhibition by Debosmita Samanta exploring intimacy, memory and ancestral wisdom through stories rooted in family and folklore. Drawing from conversations with family members and women from her childhood, Samanta transforms personal experiences into characters inspired by loved ones, friends and strangers. Bengali fairytales, short stories and mythology inform the visual language of the works, creating narratives around home, heritage and identity. The exhibition reflects on how stories passed through generations continue to shape our understanding of family, memory and belonging.
