TARQ presents Home-sick, a solo exhibition by Garima Gupta exploring the relationship between medicinal plants, ecological change and the loss of traditional knowledge. Drawing on research into botanical archives and fieldwork with healers and foragers across Ladakh, Sikkim and Kalimpong, Gupta creates works on paper using graphite, pastels and collage. Focusing on fragile and endangered plant specimens, the exhibition reflects on how climate change threatens medicinal practices, ecological memory and the knowledge passed down through generations.
