April 30th marks International Jazz Day.
To celebrate the occasion, boxout.fm, in partnership with Wild City, Gatecrash, Art Unites & Jazz in India, has put together a 3-day live music experience showcasing some of the most exciting homegrown and international jazz artists today.
Taking place from April 29th to May 1st in New Delhi, the inaugural edition of JAZZ WEEKENDER features German dancefloor-jazz group Triorität, Dutch world music duo Boi Akih, prolific jazz drummer Gino Banks in collaboration with guitar virtuoso Rhythm Shaw, 8-piece big band The Revisit Project, neo-soul artist Tribemama Marykali, Hindustani-meets-classical and jazz fusion band Pakshee, the live R&B and funk stylings of T.ill APES, and more.
Set at the contemporary art-inspired lawns of 1AQ in Mehrauli, Jazz Weekender will feature a DJ Garden, cocktail bars, a flea market and much more.
