079|STORIES x Casa degli Artisti presents JYOT
Jyot marks the first solo exhibition in India by Italian artist Roberto Rup Paolini, presented in
collaboration between 079|STORIES (Ahmedabad) and Casa degli Artisti (Milan), curated by
Caterina Corni and Giulia Restifo. The exhibition is supported by the Consulate General of Italy
in Mumbai, in partnership with The Arts Family (TAF), London and That’s Contemporary.
The word Jyot (from the Sanskrit Jyoti, “light”) carries a profound significance in India’s spiritual
and philosophical traditions. Beyond its physical meaning, it stands for inner radiance, divine
consciousness, and the eternal link between the human and the absolute.
