Art Incept presents a group show titled Memory Keepers which is a geometric abstraction by emerging women artists.
This show brings together six early career women artists who, through their contemporary art practices, explore the idea of nostalgia, a feeling that is built by memories – reminiscing on moments that passed a long time ago. Memories shape us. Many define our future. Yet today creates our memories for tomorrow!
What is really distinct about this show is that each artist uniquely employs materials and process – from stitching metal sheets, to cyanotype printing with embroidery, fresco treatment on MDF, and using old tetra packs as printing plates.
The exhibition is part of the Delhi Art Week, a week-long celebration of the rich diversity of Indian contemporary and modern art in Delhi, taking place across four art zones, 37 galleries, two museums and several participating institutions.
