Momo Dialogue with Mood

February 2, 2025 11:00 am — 2:00 pm

Stir Art Gallery, 2 North Drive, Block C, Westend DLF Chattarpur, New Delhi.

Momos or momo? Nepali or Tibetan? These simple questions spark connections long before we even meet. More than just food, momos carry stories, memories, and shared experiences passed down through generations. In this momo dialogue, we’ll dive into conversation and cooking, honoring the ways this cherished meal has been lovingly prepared in our homes. Together, we’ll roll dough, fill and fold dumplings with care, and share stories as the steam rises—bridging distances and celebrating the cultural significance woven into each pleat. This experience is about more than making a meal; it’s about savoring the warmth of collective effort, the rituals that transform simple ingredients into something meaningful, and the comfort momos bring to every table. By the time we sit down to enjoy, we’ll have nourished more than hunger—a sense of belonging, a pause for reflection, and a new thread in the fabric of community. Every bite tells a story, every flavor holds a memory, and every shared moment brings us closer.
