Bahl that documents India’s long standing practice of sculpture staged on benches through works by thirteen artists including Narayan Chandra Sinha, Pintu Sikder, Satish Gupta and Vibhor Sogani, amongst others. Filled with a range of illustrations, visuals and photographs, the book captures the entire creative process, from drawings to working models and maquettes to the final life size sculptures created in various metals in abstracted, human and associated forms.
