Sakshi Gallery celebrates its 40th anniversary with Of Being and Becoming, curated by Manan Shah. Bringing together over 50 artists across generations—including Vivan Sundaram, Gulam Mohammed Sheikh, Nalini Malani, Rekha Rodwittiya, Ranbir Singh Kaleka, Navjot Altaf, Shilpa Gupta, and Thukral and Tagra—the exhibition traces evolving artistic vocabularies, materials and ideas from the 1980s to the present. Featuring site-responsive works and installations, it reflects on the gallery’s enduring role in fostering experimentation, dialogue and intergenerational exchange.
