Gallery Maskara presents contemporary artist T. Venkanna’s Open Studio at the gallery premises. In April 2022, T. Venkanna made a bold decision to move his entire studio from Baroda (along with 12 artisans from Lucknow) to Mumbai. The artist has temporarily taken over the cavernous space of Gallery Maskara and converted it into his studio-cum-workshop. The studio is open to visitors, who are invited to see the works in process and the artist at work.
The open studio is part of Art Night Thursday taking place in Mumbai on the 8th of September.
