Orbits of Attention

4-15 February, 2026

B-74, Ground Floor, Block B, Defence Colony, New Delhi

Orbits of Attention – floating in space – what if, in these graphic notations, one breaks down even further the structure of the note/the dot/the Bindu – what would happen then?

This exhibition explores a significant post-1960s artistic movement, where artists reinterpreted ancient symbolic forms through modernist abstraction. Their vivid compositions, featuring geometric shapes such as concentric circles, triangles, and squares in a striking palette of blues, ochres, blacks, and reds, functioned as visual pathways to meditation, inwardness, and the dissolution of binaries. Drawing from this impactful movement, this project particularly examines the Bindu as a central, organising principle.
