Bespoke Art Gallery presents Purusha Prakriti, a landmark exhibition curated by renowned art historian and critic Uma Nair, showcasing a powerful confluence of tradition, nature and contemporary expression, this exhibition brings together 40 distinguished artists, including masters, sculptors, ceramicists, and installation award winners from across India and the world. The show coincides with Earth Day (22nd April 2025), bringing together materials, mediums, and the beauty of the earth in myriad ways in a curation that reflects the wonder of man and nature and the interdependence of the two.
The exhibition pays homage to modernist sculptor Himmat Shah, leading with his iconic head from the London series. Sculptural works by Dhananjay Singh, Karl Antao, Ankit Patel, Debashish Bera, and international names Jesús Curia, Simon Max Bannister, and Gillie & Marc contribute to a dynamic discourse on form and texture. Highlights include Ram Kumar Manna’s terracotta Ganeshas, Arun Pandit’s Thinkers, Arunkumar HG’s recycled elephant, and a centenary celebration of KG Subramanyan through his prints and drawings, among many other featured artists.
