Gallery Ragini presents Rooted Impressions, a group exhibition bringing together fourteen artists from diverse folk and tribal traditions across India. Working through inherited visual languages shaped by generations of storytelling, ritual and craftsmanship, the artists transform mythology, everyday life, landscapes and lived experience into powerful expressions of cultural memory. While deeply rooted in tradition, these practices continue to evolve in response to contemporary social and environmental realities, revealing the enduring relevance of indigenous knowledge systems. Rooted Impressions celebrates living heritage, creative resilience and the many ways in which art sustains memory, identity and community across generations.
