The exhibition, She Who Saw the Deep, brings together works by artists Yogita Pendharkar, Leena Dewan, and Varsha Singh, each of whose sculptural practice arises from different interpretations and meet at a common threshold–of looking beneath the surface. Approaching clay as a site of encounter, along with the invisible and often unnoticed memory of the body, the works delve into the profound realities of resistance and transformation, and are mediated through touch and time. Featuring ceramic sculptures, the works in the exhibition carry tenderness, rupture, resilience, inheritance, and the small, sustaining pulse of joy.
