Curated by Gallery Dotwalk’s Research and Curatorial Team, Songs the Soil Keeps brings together modern and contemporary Indian artists exploring the land as a living archive of memory, mythology, labour and ecology. Through painting, sculpture and varied material practices, the exhibition considers how the earth holds personal and collective histories while continuing to change through human and ecological intervention. The exhibition travels to New Delhi following its presentation in Hyderabad.
