Aicon Art presents Summer Nudes, a salon exhibition bringing together more than thirty South Asian and diasporic artists whose works examine the many histories, meanings, and representations of the nude figure. Spanning from 17th- and 18th-century miniatures to contemporary painting and sculpture, the exhibition unfolds through six interconnected themes, classical, abstract, erotic, body politics, self-portrait, and trauma. It traces how artists have engaged the body as a site of desire, identity, resistance, spirituality, and transformation across time.
