DAG presents Tantra On the Edge: Inspirations and Experiments in Twentieth-Century Indian Art, showcasing works of 16 prominent Indian artists such as G.R. Santosh, K.C.S. Paniker, Sohan Qadri, Biren De, J. Swaminatha, S.H. Raza, Prabhakar Barwe, Manu Parekh, Satish Gujral, P.T. Reddy, Gogi Saroj Pal, V.Viswanadhan, Sunil Das, Jyoti Bhatt, R.B. Bhaskaran, Shoba Broota and more.
Curated by Madhu Khanna, the exhibition explores the impact of Tantra on Indian modern art and the interpretation, innovation, and the relationship of the trailblazers with the Tantra philosophy, each of whom created a legacy and a unique identity inspiring modern and contemporary art for future generations.
