Ashvita’s presents its latest solo exhibition, The White House by the Sea, featuring the works of the artist Premalatha Seshadri. For Premalatha Seshadri, art is never simply about showing what is seen, but about distilling the noise of the visible world into its quiet truths. Every mark, whether dense with paint or pared to a single line, reflects her belief – “nothing in my work is accidental.” Across five decades and multiple mediums, she has sought the essence of form, rhythm, and balance. This exhibition is not a retrospective but a portrait in fragments—an intimate conversation with an artist whose work, like her life, moves between clarity and contemplation, solitude and presence, past and the white house by the sea where she lives today.
