Burgoyne Original Masters presents Threads of Continuum: Reweaving the Future of Heritage, an exhibition featuring 20 artists, artisans, craft-led brands and collectives working with India’s textile traditions. Part of the inaugural Masters in Making grant initiative, the exhibition explores textile as a living form of knowledge shaped by memory, labour, community and cultural histories. Featuring practices from across India, the exhibition highlights traditional techniques while exploring how they can evolve through contemporary artistic practice. The exhibition brings together diverse approaches to weaving, embroidery, printing, dyeing and other textile traditions, reflecting on their continued relevance and future.
