Chemould Prescott Road presents Transfixed – a portraiture project by Anusha Yadav.

Presenting studio photographs of individuals from the queer community, the online exhibition celebrates and reveals what beauty means to each of them. Barring the backdrops and the silhouette of the frame, the look, clothes and accessories were decided by the portrait sitters themselves, creating a visual chronicle entirely of their own imagination. For both the photographer and the sitters, the final outcome was that of a celebration of life.
