Akara Modern presents A Lyrical Journey, a solo exhibition by Vinod Shah. The exhibition brings together works by Shah from the 1950s to the 2010s, offering a poetic meditation on what it means to live with, return to, and be transformed by the land over the course of a lifetime. From the king of hearts, enthroned amidst emblems of sovereignty—swords, regalia, and the throne itself—to the dabeli wala perched on the moon, Shah’s compositions unfold as richly symbolic worlds.
