Vadhera Art Gallery presents Waking Life, a solo show of Houston-based Pakistani artist Zaam Arif. The exhibit features a suite of large- and small-scale oil paintings for the first time in India. The artist’s cinematic compositions feature personable protagonists who are ridden with a kind of existential ennui, often posited among surrealistic scenes of exterior-spliced interior spaces.
