Gallery Pristine Contemporary presents What Memory Built in Colour, a two-person exhibition featuring artists Dasha Buben and Thilini Jinadasa. The exhibition brings together Berlin-based Belarusian artist Dasha Buben and Sri Lankan contemporary artist Thilini Jinadasa, whose abstract practices draw on memory, emotion and the evocative power of colour. Featuring Vivid Memories of Things That Never Happened to Me by Buben and The Secret of Hues by Jinadasa, the exhibition reflects on how recollection and imagination converge through abstraction, where colour becomes a medium of reflection and feeling. Together, Buben and Jinadasa open a quiet conversation between memory and emotion, where colour becomes a vessel for introspection, as well as a reminder that the most deeply felt often defies explanation.
