January 8-February 10, 2026 12:00 am

Art & Soul, 1 Madhuli, Worli, Mumbai, India

Art & Soul presents the group exhibition titled WomanGrove – Scapes of Still & Life. The exhibition uses the metaphor of the mangrove forest to reflect on women artists who have cultivated deep, resilient practices in the background and are now emerging into the mainstream spotlight. Central to this exhibit is the reclamation of “Still Life”, a concept artists’ navigated beyond boundaries of perception and reality, unearthing the silent language of still and life.

The show ventures into how women have been equally paramount in constructing the framework of Indian art. Featuring a diverse roster with names like Lalitha Lajmi, Jayasri Burman, Brinda Miller, Bandana Jain, Tanujaa Rane, Bandana Jain, Revati Sharma Singh, Heeral Trivedi, Meenakshi Nihalani and Sushma Anand, the exhibition challenges stereotypes often associated with female subjects.

Furthermore, in partnership with Atypical Advantage, the gallery champions inclusivity across borders by featuring artists like Alice William, Archana Gokhale, Reshma Valliappan, Sonu Sorout, Shloka Shankar, Shreya Gupta and contributing artist, Rayna Arya. This commitment ensures that creativity is celebrated beyond physical ability, cementing a future for Indian art that is as diverse as the roots from which it grows.
