The Ministry of Textiles presents Worlds Within Cloth: New Orders of Woven Making at the National Crafts Museum, New Delhi, curated by Sreyansi Singh. Bringing together contemporary textile artists, garment-makers and craft collectives, the exhibition reimagines textiles beyond material or object, revealing the social histories, political realities and collaborative practices woven into every thread. Through research-driven projects, artist–craftsperson collaborations and immersive installations, it redefines the roles of the artist as researcher, the craftsperson as activist, and the custodian as educator and archivist, offering new ways of thinking about cloth and its many worlds.
